company for sale?

I was driving north on US 67 a few days ago and noticed a large "For Sale" sign in front of the building that houses Searcy Broadcasting, aka Cool 104. Is Searcy Broadcasting going out of business? Are they simply moving to a new building? If SBC is going out of business, any idea on who may take over Cool 104 since they are on a LMA from Flinn Broadcasting in Memphis?

I'm not that familiar with this operation, however, consider this: Perhaps they are moving the studios to a new location. Or the lease on the studio space is about to expire and they aren't staying, or the lease is about to expire and the landlord put the sign up to "motivate" them into signing a new lease.
Who knows? A phone call could clear up the whole question.....

The last I talked with Ken (the owner), a couple months ago, he's just trying to get out of the building. At one time that placed housed 4 stations and a weekly newspaper...now it's down to one station. But that's not saying that Ken wouldn't listen to offers for the station ;)

Broadcaster, if I'm not mistaken, Ken doesn't own 104.7FM. Isn't it under an LMA from a man named Flinn in Memphis? By that last comment, do you think he is going to release control of the station?

One thing I've learned...you can't offend Ken with cash :D
