Compile Your Houston Radio Dream Team

OK...Radio Types, this is your dream job!!!

You've been named Ultimate Program Director of All Time. You have unlimited funds AND the God given power to raise the dead. You've been asked from "On High", to form the greatest "day in the life" of a Houston radio station. You can hire who you want and even change format, depending on day part. Mornings could be country...nights could be R&B, and so on.

The ONLY stipulation is that you must use Houston radio personalities, past or present, dead or alive. And by dead, I'm talking as in not alive---no longer living; not dead in terms of career, although that's actually OK, too.

You can use teams, solo acts, anything--anyone. You can even duplicate staff (yes, the dreaded on-air SPLIT SHIFT!!!) I want you to fill every possible on-air position in a 24-hour span. From Jocks to Newspeople to Stunt Boys. Also, include your ultimate choice for PD, News Director, Music Director, Promotion Director and station GM. Keep in mind, this is a full service radio station...one that literally does it all!

Here's a template I'd like for you to follow.

I wonder if you could even get Mark D since he works for XM.
Don't know how their non-competes work, if they have them.

Thats a thought, I liked his style more when he was on KRBE than on XM, I checked his mix out online but didnt realy care for it that much.
______________

I did the online trial too, but didn't hear any of his mixes during that time, so I don't know how different it is.
The music these days could also be different.
I haven't really followed it much over the past few years.

Paul Christy on KLDE/"Eric Chase" on XM...

I kind of wonder how the Paul Christy situation works. He does his show with KLDE in the afternoon, and then I hear him on the XM 70's channel as "Eric Chase" at night. I know he probably voicetracks that, but I am just curious on "non-compete" issue there.

Nonetheless, it's great to hear him on both. If you have XM and get a chance to hear him on the 70's channel (I guess it's around 9pm-12am), check him out, he sounds great!
______________
