Complaint about MLB playoff coverage

I was listening to the ESPN coverage of the Astros-Braves game on XM yesterday and coverage ended abruptly just before the 3rd out during the top of the 18th inning. I had to switch to the KTRH feed (Astros home) for the last half inning. I don't understand why they did this; have they learned nothing from the Raiders-Jets Heidi game?
