Compliments for 106.7

I want to compliment the enginerding/pro-ramming staff at 106.7. The technical quality of the audio is very good - the best oldies processing I have ever heard.
I like the format too. This, unfortunately, is the kiss of death......so for the sake of all youz guys groovin' on the oldies channel I'll try real hard to hate it.

I hear Wednesday is AJ Cannon's last day as he's headed to Columbus (Kissin' Cousins) to do the morning gig there. If so, I wish him the best.

Now, who is going to do afternoon's on True Oldies? Rob Lee? That Freddie guy? Probably just let Scott Shannon run 24/7/365. I wonder how long before Citadel dumps Imus and puts Shannon on ALL the time?

I, of course, love this station. I don't like commercial's, but it is worth listening because they play something I have not heard on Atlanta radio since WQXI.

How about a return of Randy and Spiff to oldies! Just need to get Randy out of his gawd-awful gig at GST. What's JJ Jackson doing these days?

I wonder how long before Citadel dumps Imus and puts Shannon on ALL the time?

Not any time soon. Imus is not there to help 106.7. He's there because his show needs an Atlanta affiliate to sell it to national advertisers.

With the jock ' d jour at True Oldies, who is going to be doing afternoons?

I guess we'll wait and see what happens Monday.

Another one on last week was "Boomer". He didn't say a last name while I was listening.

He was a lot more talkative than most.

I'm not the worlds biggest oldies fan but in the time I've listened I don't think I've heard the same song twice.

I can';t get into Imus, he just isn't relevant. The rest of the day it's usually on.

I agree, Imus sounds like he is drunk all the time.
I usually listen to TRG's, they are pretty funny.

It's about time we got oldies radio back in Atlanta. I've missed it, and The River just doesn't cut it. I'd like to hear Spiff Carner, JJ Jackson or Suzy-Q back in Atlanta. The music has been GREAT - love it.

Last week I heard a couple of tunes that were repeated later in the day.
