I think they were still auditioning people this past week. Boomer had an accident last year. He stepped on a sharp piece of metal, and it badly injured his foot. If I remember correctly, the wound became infected in the hospital. I don't think he's fully recovered although he's obviously back to work.

There are minor bugs in any new format. This will get better. The crew of True oldies has done a great job.
Although I had to change the format of my little fm station (homebrew) because of this.... :'( format flip..
I had been running oldies, now Im up in the air as to what to do... I could just play a little of everything.. LIKE IT MATTERS ???? LOL ;D

There is a quorum of one on this board who is clamoring for New Rock/"Alternative" to fill the black hole left in the market when 99x imploded on itself.

I just heard Boomer on again in afternoon drive. When do you think True Oldies will resolve their afternoon drive delema?
 
I think that their are better voices than Boomer.. I am sorry but he sounds really old and like a redneck.

Too country, does not at all sound like he did when he was on Power 99. What happened to him?? I know this is an oldies format, but don't put me to sleep when he speaks.
