Comrex Access Bric

Just got a new Comrex Access Bric and am having trouble using the Verizon Wireless EVDO card. The card works fine in my laptop and desktop computer, but won't grab an ip address from the network when in the bric. Any ideas? I've updated the software (like it matters) and contacted Verizon Tech Support about it, and still can't get on with this thing.

We demo'd an Access back in November using this same card and it worked fine!
 
First I'd check with Comrex to see whether that particular card has issues with the Access. Some of them do.

Updating the software absolutely matters. It's fixed a lot of issues that we initially had with ours.

Check whether the Access is pulling the phone number/password/dialing information from the card. I should do it automatically, but for some reason, yours may not be doing it.
 
we use the verizon wireless card PC5750 "rev A" with our Access units. Works like a champ.

Make sure to get the updates from comrex.
 
Also if you are upgrading to EVDO, you need to completely remove the old card from the Access unit config. Then just plug in the new card and away ya go.
