Just got a Comrex Access and am about to do our first remote using it on
St Patricks Day. In the past we have done this remote using a Comrex Matrix system which provides an IFB input in addition to the backhaul which I fed mono
mix-minus predelay. We also have have use a local company that has served us
very well with his remote truck and a combination of his own microwave system and ISDN service. There have been some remotes he could not do for us due to no microwave shot or place to park his remote truck in very dense streets below
skyscrapers
When we do ISDN with our Telos Zephyr Extremes I have fed one backhaul channel
with a mono predelay mix-minus and the other channel sending the IFB.
What a fantastic piece of equipment, will no longer have to deal with old copper POTS lines that constantly reconfigure and Verizons erratic and painful ISDN
ordering.
Anyone out there have any thoughts for setup and operation I would appreciate
any suggestions.
