With that said...Conan has only been on for three weeks. There needs to be a few months worth of data before success/failure is declared.
Everyone should wait until September when Jay starts at 10 PM to see how the ratings will work (Jay -> Local News - > Conan). How Jay can get people to stay tuned to local NBC affiliate news at 11 (and how affiliates can keep them there for 35 minutes) will be a big factor.
