The 2 Hawks seemed to have merged into a simulcast, but ironically the 102.3 signal seems to have improved from what it was a year or two ago.
As for the 103.1 translator, yes it does screw with WBLM in Concord proper. It depends on the selectivity of your radio and your location in the city. But, WBLM was not strong in the city before the translator either. I think that this may be an issue of diary placement more than anything else.
Basically, 103.1 is a translator that is an unnecessary waste of juice - IMHO. Really not necessary, as "the mill" will not gain anything from it. Different markets, even. Anyhow, once you get out of Concord, it becomes a non issue. Much like the classical station at 94.7 versus Jamn 94.5. Horrid interference in the city, not so bad once you get 5+ miles from the transmitter.
