condolences to Bob Shuman
I would like to be the first to extend my condolences to Bob Shuman of WOMC on the passing of his good friend Don Latulippe. As many in Detroit recall, Bob left the motor city to work with his good friend Don in Boston for several years. Many people remarked as to how being in Don's constant presence allowed Bob's true talent to emerge. Many of us recall the loving embrace of Bob and Don when Don won a Boston Emm for his programming highlighting the contributions to the Boston area Boy Scouts. I recall at the awards ceremony, Bob was quite soft-spoken yet emotional when he spoke of all the work he and Don did to advance the opportunities available to young boys. Bob, we salute you in your hour of despair, knowing your close friendship with Don helped make Boston a better city, especially in the quaint Bay Villae neighborhood. I am sure you will be in town for the memorial to your great friend and i hope to see you there.
Thanks again for all you and Don did for the young boys of New England,
Mark P.
