Leaving the Herald or in addition to?
 
The Herald is going through another round of buyouts. She may be one of the ones who took early retirement. With the direction the big picture paper is heading, it may not be long before their newsroom will be located in leased space in a basement of the Globe plant.
 
Apparently, they've been going with zero or not much news since Sue left. I listened Friday morning for the first time in a very long time from 7:45ish to 8:45ish and they had no newsbreaks at all. Wally had his measly sports report around 8 and Hank had a couple of traffic reports during that time but no news. On the bright side, Loren sounded better than ever. He didn't have nearly as many uhhhh's and ahhhh's as he used to. Wally had a cold. Tom was useless. Music was pretty good though.
 
Falcone can't read so you won't be hearing much that you can make out anyway. The week she tried to do the news it was a total mess and if I did as many aaaahhhhs as Loren I would have been fired. You're right, the music is better.
