Confusing With a C

I've noticed a confusing (at least to me) trend for Sirius since the merger, in regards to promo's. This morning while listening to Howard Stern they ran a promo for the Monday Night Football game but since they are now concerned about two programming channels (Sirius & XM) they promoted everything together.

It sounded something likes this:

Don't forget to catch all the Monday Night Football action tonight on Sirius/XM. Hear the National Broadcast on "Channel Whatever" on Sirius and "Channel Whatever" on XM. The "Home Team" broadcast on Sirius "Channel Whatever" and Channel Whatever" on XM along with the "Away Team" broadcast on Sirius "Channel Whatever" and XM "Channel Whatever." The NFL only on Sirius/XM.

Obviously, I'm paraphrasing a bit, but I was focused on listening to the promo and remembering all of the information but it was just too many channels and channel numbers for me to recall.

I've noticed the On Broadway station has pretty much stopped giving channel numbers and just says ''Sirius/XM On Broadway.''

Last night I noticed that Pop2k (which I like, thus far) is running imaging that identifies two channels. So, the sweeper says something like "Pop2k Sirius 39/XM "Channel Whatever" which is a little annoying. I have to listen twice the imaging so they can stream one format of music for two services.

There are many formats I love on Sirius but thus far the overall change/merger has confused me and forced me to hear a pitch for products that I may never use. Not too mention that Bubba may be gone soon and he's a big part of why I would renew, when my free (I bought a new Jeep Wrangler) subscription expires.

K~
