Confusion on Allen Sniffen's Board about the Rhythmic AC format

There is some confusion on Allen Sniffen's Board about the Rhythmic AC format.

Some on his board are suggesting that one of the two NYC Rhythmic AC's should flip to the Movin' format.
What kills me is they don't realize that WKTU has the same format (but without the "Movin" name).
'KTU plays everything from the late 70s (Gloria Gaynor and the Bee Gees a million times a day) to the garbage that Beyonce is putting out today.
The late 70s through 1992 is heaviest.

The people who post on that board are clueless.
 
I dont think the listeners would notice enough to make it a huge ratings revelation if either flipped to Movin especially WNEW. Since they are both playing so much gold as is, WNEW that being all they play. What would be the point? for KTU its a bad move becasue they lose their heritage of their call letters and their name recognition, unless they just play the music without taking on the Movin moniker. WNEW, another format change is the last thing tthey need unless its a COMPLETELY different format, flipping to Movin now would only confuse their audience more. Unless they flipped it rock or something completely foreign it doesnt make anny sense. Also it's Sniffen's board in that we're talking about, need I say more?.

I post there once in a while as well. I don't think I'm clueless, I know Tony isn't clueless and quite frankly don't see many "clueless" people on that board. For the most part, I see differing opinions.

It sure would be cool to let this board live its own personality, and not use other boards as talking points, especially to the negative.
 
Would not be suprised if they Keep the KTU Name and Call Letters but use the word Movin' Somewhere in the station

They figure something out.
