Congrats to all the finalists for this years IDMA's

This is always the HARDEST in terms of picking out who I would want to win, because there are SO MANY deserving candidates in a category.

So I'm just going to say it collectively to those of you that have been nominated....CONGRATULATIONS! ;D

Dang it Brett,, I was about to post that, but you beat me to it by an hour and a half. :p Anyway,,, thnks,, BTW what is everyone's comments? I just have congrats to everyone and may the best one win....

Ok here are a few of my picks:

Best House/Garage Track

Bad Romance - Lady Gaga (Dir. Francis Lawrence)

Best Artist

One thing is that it is so hard to pick the "best" for a category. For example, I had a hard time choosing between Pulse 87, Energy 92.7, C89, and Z88.9 for best terrestrial station, so I left it blank. All the terrestrial stations are great in their own markets, which is what counts.

Well I Certainly wouldnt vote for one that is already off air,, but Z 88.9 and C 89.5 are a hard choice between the two, cause like you said, they both do good for what they are, in the markets they are in, and with the signal the FCC lets them have. In my opinion all stations that support Dance are winners in their given market Why no one pick Dance Factory Chicago, or WBDG Indianapolis, I would have voted for them cause they are local midwest stations,, kind of cheering on your local sports team.... i didnt see them on there unless I missed something.

OK im gonna go out on a limb here and vote for Z-88.9... I vote for KHNC every year,, And although both stations are great, i dont know anyone who works harder on a realistic level to get dance more recognicion within reason than Brett.. So Congrats Brett,, you got my vote this year.

Hey Brett...a suggestion I would ask them to list your station from Burlington NJ...not Burlington college NJ. C 85 is not listed as a high school station you may recieve less votes due to a prejudice toward "school " stations..I would hate to see you lose votes due to that. You never know but it stuck out to me and it may to others.

on another note I really hope Kim Sozzi wins for "Feel Your Love"...what a great track!!! als a long shot I hope La Roux beats Kings of Leon for rock/dance...I think Bulletproof is a great track that is finally getting its airplay now.

Duh Brett i wasn't even thinking that!!! I totally forgot lol

To someone outside New Jersey, whether it says Burlington or Pemberton doesn't matter, it might as well say South Jersey/Philadelphia. Technically, Z88.9 does broadcast from Burlington, on the 95.1 translator.

That is true. When the term "South Jersey" is said, I think more of Atlantic City, Wildwood, and Cape May, not Pemberton, or Burlington, not to mention most Atlantic City/Cape May market stations brand themselves as South Jersey, you don't want to have the average joe assume Z88.9 is in the Atlantic City area.
