For taking yet another one of his stations and running it into the ground. The "great" U93 with a 7.1 share. You should be proud Art! Can't wait to see what the Fort Wayne and Lafayette markets look like. Your board members must be retarded if they keep letting you screw things up like you do. Of course you don't tell them what really goes on in those markets do you?

I don't think any of his stations did well in the SB book. This has to be the lowest books 92.9 has had in their history based on rankings. Makes you wonder if ANYONE listens to 1490. They would do better simulcasting 1580 or 1620 on it.

Makes you wonder if *non-dominance* is company policy....

Actually, U93 nose dived in the spring book... this just more or less proves that the drop in numbers wasn't an anomoly or fluke. You could make a few different arguments as to why, including the turnover in air staff, the national trend of struggling CHR's nationwide... I think a lot of people realize that the best reason is that U93 finally has some competition in the form of Power 95.7. The big shots at AMP probably ought to count their blessings that Power is only on a rimshot signal... the damage could be much worse.

Yes, congratulations are in order! Earlier this week Art and his wife Barb became the proud first-time Grandparents to Arthur Leonardo Angotti (Leo), 8lbs, 10oz, 19 3/4 inches! Father Arthur, Mother Amber and little Leo are all doing well!

Well could someone post the latest South Bend ratings? Also, anyone know when (or will it happen Monday-have not heard yet) for the new Froggy 102.7 morning show.

Arbitron subscribers got the info on Tuesday or Wednesday this week. Radio & Records might post the 12+ numbers on their site as early as the middle of next week.

and there are rules that prohibt us from mentioning numbers on Radio-Info because of copyrights.

The 12+ numbers are on All Access, and R&R. It's common knowledge, so I don't see why they couldn't be posted here.

It has to do with copyrights and licensing from Arbitron. R&R is licensed to publish the 12+ information, as well as All Access. It's my understanding that Radio-info is not licensed in any way to publish those numbers on the site or the boards anywhere (and I think that includes direct links to web pages with the data); I've seen it done many times in the past where people did innocently post or copy the numbers only to have them removed by moderators. It's just one of those things we have to live with to keep the boards in the good graces of Arbitron's lawyers.

No, really, I'm not. Definitely not my style. I'm sorry, I missed your name and the company for which you work. I was wondering who might take one of the few positive comments found on this board and slam it. Unfortunately, it was just a matter of time. This forum could be such a constructive tool; it's a shame that all too often it's used in such a hateful manner. Have a great weekend (too bad we can't watch the Colts on Sunday)! Again, no fake names to hide behind, on this board or on the air. Mike Warner
