I want to congratulate Lex and Terry for their 19th place showing in the ratings. They were right, the change in frequency made all the difference. Maybe next year they'll hit 17th??
 
Like I said in another post.... COMPLETE waste of what was a good rock station. We've been over this before, 98Rock is better off playing ALL MUSIC and NO JOCKS between 6 and 10. If any of the sales reps can sell those numbers I'd be stunned.
 
They are already running newsradio 970 on 97.9's HD2 But I'll bet there are probably only a dozen or so people that can listen to it that dont work in radio now.
 
Great work Clear Channel - Lex and Terry fail AGAIN in Tampa! Funny how they blamed 102.5 for their poor Tampa ratings the first time around and now Bubba is on that signal and #1 in so many demos.

5+ years after firing Bubba and 98 Rock remains in shambles. Even while Bubba was in exile that station couldn't do much, and with him back they're not going to be able to out-talk their way into morning ratings. Either have Big Rig on there playing music or cut the cord. Perhaps simulcasting 970 WFLA on WXTB really does make the most sense.
