Congrats to Press and colleagues at Breeze

A hearty congratulations are in order to the staff at Breeze. I can tell you that working with professionals, particularly the strong local and regional news commitment to serving the public, plus a great format is deserving of their 4.8 share. We work closely together in pro-active local news. At WIBG1020, the station was just recognized by the Press of Atlantic City for its strong commitment to local news coverage. As a broadcast veteran for 38 years, its still all about "All radio is local". Sure program distinctives are important but its great to see guys like Keith Rella, Al Brooks and Anita Velardo with a passion for strong pro-active local news. At WIBG1020, we're a Contemporary Christian News/Talk station, but the response to strong local news coverage is greatly rewarding and is a core component of our commitment to serve the communities we are licensed to. We're glad to share corresponding stories with The Breeze that benefit the overlapping coverage areas. Despite the satellite, Sterns and gimmics, its still about being of crucial service to the communities and that all radio is local.

Re: Congrats to Press...

Well from a "Listener" perspective I would just like to offer my Congratulations as well! "The Breeze" has been our station of choice in my workplace in North Jersey. Although we are out of their "coverage area" we do play their webstream in the office and everyone really enjoys the WIDE ARRAY of tunes. Based on THAT factor alone, other stations should be as bold and daring as "The Breeze" when it comes to playlists! With all the changes they have endured "behind the scenes" with PD changes, it's great to see that main focus was ALWAYS kept in check... offering the listeneres "Live & Refreshing" Radio. A definite "Tip of the Hat" to ALL involved in making "The Breeze" as successful as it has become!

PS- They have one of if not THE BEST webstream of any station I have sampled online!!
