How many years were we posters begging - demanding for Matt to get his own show..
I think it was Paul Giammarco that made it happen. Now we and WPRO have a great local
talk show to listen to. I believe WPRO also came in 2 nd, just behind 105?
Local talk is a money maker in RI. I wonder if WHJJ will get that message?

Must be nice to be Matt Allen right about now! ;D

i love the local line up on wpro i listen all day i just wish they would put matty on from 6/10 pm that way i can listen to him when i fall asleep rather than savage.... whom i also like LOL

And with ratings embargoed again I wonder if any Clear Channel station did well or is HJY still their only saving grace

Doesn't matter. They will spin things and find some miniscule demo they did well in. Coast is only there to flank anyway. Maybe with WPRO winning in a big way and WHJJ probably not about to add local talk the answer will be to simulcast WHJJ on 93.3 after all and hope for the best.

Meanwhile at the Canonchet Cliffs Elderly Apartment Complex in Hopkinton an elderly woman protesting Clear Channel syndicated and voicetracked programming put her transistor radio in the oven & turned the oven on, sparking a fire & causing an evacuation. Who the hell keeps a radio in an oven?

I keep my Gin, in the oven..

Radio is best stored in a crock pot. The meltdown takes 8 to 10 hours and it's good for TSL.
