This past weekend the Alabama Broadcaster Association inducted a number of people into the Alabama Broadcasters Hall of Fame. From the Wiregrass area; Agnes Simpson, Dr. Wallace Miller, Terry Duffie (Dthn-Ent mkt 192), Jim Roling (Troy). Also inducted Mike Reynolds, David Woods,Bernie Dittman, David Coppock, Jim Vice, Pat Courington, Bernie Barker, Scott Johnson, Ron Livengood, Buck Long, Houston Pearce, Harry Mabry, Dick Wright, Bill Dunnavant, Jerden Bullard, Mitch Self, Jack Worley, John Slatton, C.P. Persons, Clyde Price, Jim Stewart, Dick Biddle, Earl Manning, Malcom Street, Ben McKinnon, Charles Boman, Julius Talton, Hugh Smith and Mike McDougald.

Some are still with us, some are not, but to they and their families I would like to say congratulations for the recognition and thank you for doing broadcasting as it should be done.

It was a great weekend in Point Clear ! It was an honor to be in the same room with these incredible broadcasters and just to be able to talk to some of them and to hear their stories is gonna be a great memory that i will treasure ! Congratulations to them all !!
