Ernie Anastos has become an overnight YouTube star with his misspoken phrase on live news. Ernie owns WQAR 101.3, WABY 1160, WVKZ 1240, and WUAM 900 locally and is an anchor in New York City. I wonder if there was some sort of memo up in Malta at his studios telling staff to hush. In case you haven't seen it - he meant to say keep plucking that chicken... pay attention to his co-anchors (female) face after he says the wrong word.

I really wish Ernie would bring back Real Oldies 1240 WVKZ. 98.3 plays the same music as that format he put on 1240am which made no sense.
 
Ernie was never known for being the sharpest tool in the shed. But he is a pretty nice guy, and I think we have all made comments into a live mike at one time or another that we wish we didn't.
