I'm kinda wondering A. if he is the right person for the job and B. if it wasn't a cheap alternative move.
I only say that because from what I can recollect at ALbany Broadcasting he didn't have any programming experience. Did he get any at Regent? That station probably needs someone who can oversee all aspects of the programming, music and imaging. Or maybe they just have in there for marketing purposes as Buzz Brindle will still be OM? Do they really need an OM AND a PD for that station.
On my second point with a Regent shake-up because of Howard Stern there will probably be more cost-cutting moves as well down the road. In fact, didn't Sean Scott become a sad casualty over there because of this domino effect? Doesn't make much sense in these moves to build up the new format? Are they really thinking there going to lose that much money and if they do who's next?
