A posting on WILI AM 1400/95.3 FM's social media announced that Wayne Norman has been doing mornings on the station for 50 years. It said he "temporarily" took over the morning shift on November 1st, 1971.
Reminds me of Stu Bryer on WICH AM 1310/94.5 FM Norwich Connecticut, he's been on the late morning program schedule since 1969 and he's still going strong. That is a lot of years in the same studio everyday.
A little history
Wayne Norman does a great job of keeping local radio alive in Eastern CT. He has some great guests and is a very good interviewer. Nearly all of the interviews he has conducted are available on the WILI website.
