Congressman helps Pirate go legal

This is a travesty!

We have been trying to get a low -power radio station in Pahrump for 7 years- the legal way- meetings with our local politicians, e-mails, letters to the F.C.C., and Harry Reid fall on deaf ears.

And, Pahrump has more emergencies (telephone, power outages, etc.) than Goldfield ever will!

If a window for applications doesn't open this year, we'll have no choice but to start broadcasting pirate-style, and have our lawyer tell the F.C.C. that Senator Reid has set a precedent for unlicensed FM.

I'm sure others across the country will, too!

...typical Harry Reid....one set of rules for himself, another for the rest of us.
