Connecticut Sun Rising On CPTV Sports

Note that the games will be seen on CPTV Sports, an upstart cable outlet, as opposed to the CPTV broadcast network.

Actually CPTV Sports is no longer a cable outlet. As of April 2012 CPTV Sports replaced Create on Channel 24.3 (53.3, 49.3, and 65.3).

As the WNBA is a pro league, it'll be different to show a pro game without commercial interruption.
