Connie Colla GONE!

In an unexpected move, tvjobs.com is reporting that Connie Colla has left ABC15. When I checked ABC15.com, her bio is goine. I certainly didn't see this coming...although I wondered why they were moving Christopher Sign to weekday mornings. If anything, I thought Dan Spindle might be leaving. Interesting move, since I thought Connie was pretty good. I guess that ABC15 is continuing to have ratings issues in the mornings.
 
Strange how her photo/bio is gone from ABC15.com but she posted on Facebook this morning like everything was normal:
"Good morning! Storms on the way for the Valley by the weekend. Anyone with plans? I have the whole weekend wide open! So rare I don't even know what to do! "
 
Connie is BACK today! She is anchoring this morning and her bio is back on the website. I wonder what happened? Short contract dispute? Overzealous webmaster? Hmm...
 
Wow! That was a shocker to hear. Glad she is not gone. Her voice is the one female voice in the morning that I can listen to. (Not being snarky towards the others, just the way my ears work...)
 
I, too, like Connie in the morning. I'm not so impressed with Dan Spindle, though. His voice is okay, but his facial expressions are just downright strange (overly exaggerated). I would rather have Connie paired with Christopher Sign, who is a great anchor.
 
Strange turn of events. Was the TVjobs ad and website removal a game of contract chicken?
