Connie's replacement?

That's a good point about Danielle! They hired her as the "weekend" anchor, but they must have known that Connie would be "leaving". So, perhaps, they hired Danielle to be Connie's replacement. And they were able to let viewers be exposed to her on weekends, while waiting for Connie to leave.

I always thought that the weekends could be handled by, say, Nohelani Graf (who seems to be a decent anchor).
