Connoisseur Media coming to the Tri State?

Just last week...newly built company CONNOISSEUR MEDIA aquires 6 stations in Erie Pennsylvania. This same company has a CP for a station in Huntington/Ashland/Ironton. (Actually the CP is for KENOVA but you get the drift).

Do you think that Connoisseur will be picking up some more stations in Huntington...maybe Kindred? That would give them 3FM/2AM or could they build it and swap out for some CC stations up the river in Parkersburg or Wheeling? Of course this is all speculation right now, but I thought I would ask opinions....

In other news....

Could BAS Broadcasting be expanding in Mansfield? CC hints that they are willing to sell FM's in the area if the price is right. Who knows? BAS has made a serious move toward expanding their four station empire....

The Legend Classic Hits station in Gallipois/Huntington is on the block. Rumor mill has it going to someone in Huntington.

Rumor becomes reality as WRYV Gallipolis is bought by Connoisseur. Will be moved to Huntington after bleeding red ink for past 8 months. Staff will get to apply for their jobs...i.e. everybody about to go.
