GOOD GRIEF DRU! Have you no shame at all? "You "bonded with him"? What a cheap insensitive promotional statement to make! ACCESS 1 You have a potential law suit on yout hands, a potential loss of a client, and an insensitive person for a PD. The last one you can rectify very quickly. It's time to step up and do it.

Seems as if Dru would bond with the devil if doing so got his name mentioned in the paper or helped him wrangle a television interview. He is a hopeless ego-maniac, but the thought occurs that Access 1 is run by the same kind of people--so not much chance of the company doing anything with him, the reports of his December departure not withstanding. If Dru were to be fired now, he would only mount his horse of righteous indignation and draw even more attention to himself. Most people have had enough of Dru, and some went into overload a long time ago.

Nuzguy the problem with your statement is,the devil has more class than Dru.
He is the type who will offer sympathy to the victims family in public,but away from the mike and cameras he will say the guy was stupid and how dumb it was to commit suicide because he lost a contest. Dru is bad for radio,simply put. He is an embarassment to Tyler-Longview. If Access 1 doesn't remove this cancer from their station,soon,expect more bad press.

As Ed McMahon often said, "You are correct, sir." Dru is a loose cannon, to say the least and perhaps to be too kind, but, again, he may be to Access 1's liking, fir the time being. His leave taking, if it happens, most likely will be related to the forecast format change, not because he disgraces not only himself but the Access 1 orgabization, as well. This incident is by far his most egregious display of self-centeredness, but logic says if he hasn't had his walking papers processed and been shown the door for some of his other stunts, this one won't account for his pre-December departure, either. Surely hope I'm wrong.
