Continental type 816a install

Greetings,

I will be installing a Continental Type 816a and have the manuals but I'm uncertain about the Low Pass/Harmonic Filter. The book lists it as PN: A6A2 and the schematic shows it within a dashed rectangle coupled to the DC1 Coupler. I've been told that it is inside the Power Amplifier cabinet but it's not identified in the picture(s).

I'm 80 miles away from the radio shack and want to know if anyone has installed this type and can confirm its existence within the cabinet.... I can scan the pages but I didn't take any pictures when I visited the site.

TIA
TZ

Tom, yes the LP/harmonic filter is inside the PA cabinet. Not in the cavity, but in a rectangular box on the back of the cavity.

Maybe this is not why you are asking, but beware that the output flange sticks up several inches above the main cabinets. I've mis-measured that height when trying to see if the transmitter would fit through a door.

Also forgot to account for the height of the conduit we were using to roll the transmitter in from the dock. Double d'OH!

Thank You Dr. T... I'm told that Continental only produced a few of this model and that's why I can't find a .pdf of the manual... I sure like the 'find' feature over the flip until you find it task of a paper manual.
