Continued praise for KMCQ!

Since the other KMCQ topics left the tracks days ago, I again repeat my love for the great oldies sound on 104.5!

They have a listener, and should add many more!

Remember this simple history lesson:

I LOVED KYYX...then it blew up.

I LOVED KRAB...then it blew up.

I LOVED KKZU...then it blew up.

I LOVED KHIT...then it blew up.

I LOVED KJET...then it blew up.

I LOVED KKFX...then it blew up.

I LOVED KEZX...then it blew up.

I LOVED KZOK-AM (Z-Rock)...then it blew up.

I LOVED KXRX...then it blew up.

I LOVED CKLG...then it blew up.

I LOVED KYCW-AM...then it blew up.

I LOVED CKVX...then it blew up.

I LOVED KBSG...then it blew up.

The point?

Never get too attached to radio. It is neither a solid career move or anything listening for too long....

The REAL point is, radio today is a sausage grinder (remember that scene from "Pink Floyd's The Wall" movie - kinda like that.) You're just a disposable fast-product. There are some who will survive (though certainly not unscathed.) Most will not.

Just another, painfully ACCURATE, TRUTH from Yours Truly.......

Sadly, agreed.

Radio continues to chase younger listeners with paranoia and a finger to the wind populism that rivals sleazy politicians, with an even harder to please master (madison avenue) calling the shots on top of it all!

This will erode any long term listener loyalty and sizable listenership at a shocking rate into the future.
