Continued schizophrenia on Bham's 101.1?

Looks as though 101.1 may be going through yet another personality change. Been listening for a while this morning, all the liners now refer to the station as the "New 101"; there's no mention of "Star" anywhere.

Wonder if Crawford has given up searching for an identity since they kept choosing ones already in place in Birmingham and Huntsville. What's the new name for 101.1 tomorrow? Be sure to tune in... :D

"New 101.1" doesn't make any sence either because of "The New 94.5"! Even "Fun 101.1" won't work because of "Fun 92.7" WAFN in Arab which is also oldies. What the hell is Crawford thinking? What is the point and purpose of these identity changes? Is this their way of stunting because it's confusing (and annoying) listeners more than anything. They should have researched the markets a LOT better before they made this change. This is sloppy work.

Time out!

Looks like Crawford is going to be having fun in Birmingham. If you go to legends1260.com you'll see the new Fun 101.1 logo. I guess that answers what was going to happen to Legends 1260 also.

Although the "Legends" website still just has the new "Fun 101" logo, "The Source" website is back up again, but now with a mention of fun101radio.com (registered on June 30).

This post right above tells the story.... No thought was put into this station, the domain was registered on June 30th. So get ready for lots of changes, radio on the fly with no planning.
