CONTRACTS,AGENTS,AND NON COMPETES

Do most of the recognizable people in Providence have all three?I doubt anyone but the highest profile marketable people bother with agents.Same should really apply to non competes although in today's radio environment they're probably unnecessary since few who really matter jump from one station to another in the same market.Contracts don't really protect the person anyway but I assume these are more common than agents and non competes.

My guess is that every morning show person definitely has a contract as well as most people on air in the different dayparts except maybe nights. I would also gather that all GM's, GSM's, SM's, OM's, PD's and MD's have one as well.

I would guess also that most morning show people (more than likely not the opther dayparts) have agents. There very well could be non competes; but depending upon where HQ are (ie if in NY, they are illegal there), they would be limited to a 6 month stay on the beach....
