Cooksey promoted to Asst. PD at WRKO

Stop it. All of you. The guy got promoted. Congratuate him. People pay him actual money to do stuff in broadcasting. That puts him a step up on most of the posters hereabouts.

A step up? I'd say it's more like the difference between the bottom of the Marianas Trench and the top of the Burj Khalifa.
 
Now if only he'd shut up, he's constantly interrupting Todd in on the morning show, sheesh, the man knows nothing but thinks he's a genius.
 
A reader on Free Republic isn't crazy about an RKO host but praises Jeff Katz and & Jay Severin:(Lonesome in Mass.): "I would say that you are being unfair to McScreamer, but you are not. Five words out of her mouth and I turn off the radio. (There is no alternative with Jay and Jeff off the air. It’s not just her voice, it’s her choice of words and her inflection. It’s a shame that talented men like Jeff and Jay are out of work, while McScreamer has a gig. Say what you will about the two J’s, they are articular, glib and interesting." (oops I'll have to point out about Severin working for blaze radio)

Her voice is NOT what I want to hear coming from my radio at 7:15 in the morning.

I have flashbacks to my mom nagging me to get ready for school every time I hear her. Can't listen. Silence would be better.
 
Anytime McPhee is on it becomes all East Boston (Eastie) all the time. I liked her filling in here and there but I'm not a fan of her every morning. I'd rather Cooksey bring back the "Divas" RKO trotted out in the early 2000's.
 
@Wild & Crazy, Kuhner was awesome yesterday morning, he railed against the screamer and todd and cooksey. The man does not fool around! I wish they'd give him another hour.
 
Yes Jeff called out Fineburg & McPhee for jumpin' on Romney, then Kuhner turned around and did it himself when he subbed for Savage later that night.

June Knight would have been a better partner for Todd, or at least easier on the ears.
 
Severin is a rat indeed-- BUT, yes, I'd take that rat bastard over mcscream any day of the week. mcscream needs to leave. immediately if not sooner...!! I will never listen to a show with her on it....!!! It's the same as the 1-877-kars-for-kids commercial... the second it comes on off goes rko for at least 20 minutes- I mean hell, if they want to keep shooting themselves in the foot so be it..... but they could have a lot more listeners without mcscream... (and the kars for kids commercial)....!!!

Just sayin...... I know you are all thinking the same thing, but don't have the balls to say it here...!
