Hm. I'm not even going to start to figure out the sense of why this nonsense is actually occurring.

Groups like Shamrock destroy the all-Christmas format by starting it on the 4th of July. IT'S NOT NECESSARY. Wanna stunt? Do an all polka channel.

What was so wrong about Classic Hits Radio? A ton of people I knew were listening to it, and even said that it was much better than the 'Q' format. Now this. Can you at least TRY to let a station catch on....maybe people will grow loyal to it and LISTEN instead of being dealt with a format wheel spin every three months!!

It is definately too early for Christmas Music,I remember when I worked at 13Q-WBQW in the 80s we didn't start playing Christmas
music until the day after thanksgiving,and then it was only one an hour,we increased it as each week got closer to Christmas.
People who were getting used to and listening to COOL are now going to go to The GEM,The RIVER,OR Maby even WARM!
What I wonder is doesen't Shamrock have a contract with ABC for that format? I'M sure it wasn't just for four months,
maby it doesn't matter as long as they still play the network spots.

I don't know exactly to the hour when 92.1 went all-Xmas, but I noticed it last night around 10:00, as I left for 94.3 until it goes all Xmas.

I love Baby Jesus and attend church regularly, but I think starting His birthday celebration in October is a bit much. No offense, Saviour Of the World, but I'll show up at the party at the end of Advent with gold, frankincense and myrrh -- plus a little something for Mom and your foster father.
