Cool Edit/Audition Auto Select

Does anyone know how to mark in and out points on a waveform to make faster edits? (i.e. do you really have to "click and drag" to highlight a section for deletion?)

You must've come from SAW!

The closest you can do, as far as I know, is use F8 to drop cues...You still have to highlight the selection, but if "Snap to cues" is active, you can highlight pretty quick between the two cues.

HAHAHA! I've actually ever used SAW but my orig. media training was on a linear tape to tape video editor where this method of "marking" in and out points was THE way to make quick edits. Thanks for the tip. I'll look for "snap to cues" in my toolbar. That seems pretty good.
