I just upgraded from Cool Edit Pro 1.1 to 2.0. I think the 1.1 processor setting choices were better. IE: In 1.1 you had a 4:1 20db reduction stting. Now it's 4:1 23 DB FAST ATTACK. It now sounds muddier.

Also the cursor is different. It now has a T instead of a pointer.

I'm also having a more dificult time changing the wave view. It zooms in and out differently than the 1.1 version.

Any comments?<P ID="signature">______________

As with anything new, it takes some getting used to. You'll find it easy to navigate if you spend some time with the settings etc.
Remember, you can tailor the processor to your exact liking.
Just some thoughts..as I remember going through the same upgrade process.
