COOL-TV Gone - Now getting something called BOUNCE

I have "Bounce" here in Boston on 66.2 I thought it would be cool. For me, it's not all that. Now, on 66.3, I'm getting "Get TV" They seem to be an (Old Movies) Type format. On the tv screen, it states, starting October 2013. But it look like it's up and running already

Now we need Telemundo on 10.3 ,MundoFox ,Univision 27.1 -27.3 to have a stronger signal to reach this area ,Mega TV and Azteca America.

Why do stations bother with sub-channels? 90%+ of homes have cable/dishes and the sub-channels are placed where nobody would look for them.

Subchannels have also brought over-the-air broadcast networks to smaller areas which didn't have them before. Some people can't afford or don't want cable TV. It's just too bad that the setup we have for digital TV delivery is flawed (i.e. VHF low band digital reception).

WWLP in Springfield, MA has dropped TheCoolTV as well. Now all I get from the subchannel is a blank screen, and according to an engineer, nobody on the crew knows about its fate. I for one hope that LIN will add The CW to the subchannel to finally give the market an OTA affiliate (all we get at the moment is a cable-only feed).

I wish WWLP would make the subchannel MeTV.

I have inquired for ME-TV to be on WWLP for about a year , hoping they would switch from COOLTV. I have e-mailed WWLP , LIN , and ME-TV with no avail. I don't think any LIN stations are affiliated with ME-TV. I just hope they don't add BOUNCE .

scottg and djblaze, I emailed WTNH in New Haven for ME-TV for WCTX too and they never wrote back. How rude!
Well, they're busy people. I doubt they have time to answer every single query. Just as well, though, as I'm personally more concerned about a possible CW affiliation than one of the subchannel networks (WGGB has Fox 6, so why not The CW on WWLP?).

The people who can't afford/don't want cable is relatively tiny and, I'm guessing, aren't the best demographic for selling things. And from what I have seen, the ads the sub-channels do have aren't very lucrative.
