Are they planning on a big affiliate launch? If you look at the channel locator http://thecooltv.com/ChannelGuide.php a good chunk of the affiliates are TBA/TBD.
I for one am excited about about this.We hav'nt had an over the air "video music channel" in over 20 years when Garabeadium(spelling) sold WVJV(TV-66) to Home Shopping.
Does anyone know if they use VJ's.I can picture a Big John or somebody doing a morning drive show with news updates from someone that would be used only for this new channel.
 
Cool TV Providence is on the air. It's 11:40 AM. I was just surfing channels and Bang, There it was! Right now they are playing Little Red Corvette by Prince. Awesome. So far I've seen two 80's videos. The first was 18 and Life by Skid Row. It feels like I've gone back to 1985 and have M-TV on. Haven't seen any signs of a jock yet, but this is pretty good nostalgia TV. Now they are playing Georgia Satellites. Definitely leaning towards 80's music. So far all three songs the channel has played are from the 80's. I'll post this message after the next song starts so I can let you know what it is.

Ok... they went into a commercial. Katy Perry doing an acne/skin care commercial. LOL.. Well at least the commmercial fits this channel. OK Videos are back. 3 Doors Down and their song Kryptonite. Well the channel skipped right over the 90's and is now playing something from this decade. I give Cool TV a thumbs up. I think you are going to like it. I do have to say that so far it has been very enjoyable to watch.
 
Now they are playing some Nickelback from 2008. Defintiely a good mix on this channel. They do go crazy with the Katy Perry skin care commercials though. Still not a jock to be found. I don't expect any.

Cool TV sounds just as the name implies, but I hope we're not in for another plug-pulling a la the now-defunct Tube.
 
The playlist has about 600 events on it, so there is a lot of music on it.
