Let's hope not. It's the only Charlotte-area station playing this music full-time.

Why do I care? I don't even like soft AC.

WKBC has a satellite-delivered music format; it's Dial Global, formerly Jones. It is my understanding that Dial Global's Hot AC format (and maybe other Dial Global formats) started running this talk show this past week and I don't think it was optional for affiliates. I suppose they could go local/live if they wanted to play only music. Maybe if enough people call WKBC and complain it might make a difference -- if no one calls, WKBC can assume that listeners like the new show.

The rest of the Link (except Candy + Potter) is distributed via Dial Global too. I wonder if they're going to push down any of the other shows? Bob and Sheri don't have the affiliates they once did, so I could see them forcing that one if nothing else.

I can't imagine they would. WKBC is said to be a very good station.
