the two players I could see grabbing them is Gray or Nexstar. though there would be a few conflicts

I have doubts on Nexstar and Gray though getting the Cordillera stations.

However what about News Press-Gazette, heartland media

And others we don't know about yet are they available and able to expand with getting some of the divested stations.

These talks affect KSBY in San Luis Obispo and KVOA Tucson the notable stations mentioned in the op link.

I didn't know Lexington, KY was a bigger DMA than Tucson. However, I realized that the Lexington DMA includes at least 25-30 counties.
