Corey Calhoun Officially Joins The Bull

Corey Calhoun been on The Bull (and other iHeart stations) for quite some time. At The Bull, he did fill-in, once handled 1-3PM, and has been doing afternoon drive since Kristen Gates left. But he was based at iHeart's WMZQ in Washington, where he was MD and the evening jock. He left WMZQ last week and according to Radio Insight, will become the permanent afternoon host, (apparently) based in Atlanta.

Mr. Calhoun (or whatever his real name is) began his career as an intern at Q99-7.

The same Radio Insight article announces that Ashley Layfield has joined The Bull as the new PD. She has been PD at iHeart's U.S. 103.5 in Tampa, and--surprise, surprise--she will retain that role.

We can't see 101.5's 6+* or a guessamate of the money demos comparing both station, but one would think 101.5 must be affecting the Bull's billings or iHeart wouldn't be spending the money to physically move people instead of just voice tracking from where ever.

*I know (6+) doesn't sell
