Corey Dylan to WFLA

As per The St. Petersburg... I mean The Tampa Bay Times...

Corey Dylan joins Jack & Tedd.

Good? Bad?
Since this was her first day, it would not be fair to tell if she is a good fit or not, yet.

It is not easy to hit the ground running in a show, such as AMTB. The chemistry between Jack and Tedd has been there for a very long time.

Sharon was a good fit right away because she was already there as part of the news team.

Is this a Hannity & Colmes thing?

Seems weird to me too! Listened to Corey's show for years and never pictured this. On her former show she seemed very left of center. Maybe Corey can be the balancing act to ultra-right wing radio.

;D ;D

I liked Corey on WPOI, but I have trouble listening to this show. Just too right-of-center for me. Both hosts have been in radio for decades, Jack going back to Top 40 radio on WRC-AM. I wonder if anybody knows the age and sex demos for this show? Maybe CC is planning a move to an FM channel and wants to bring in a younger demo. WPGB is doing very well in Pittsburgh on FM.

Same here, Liked her show on WPOI. I just couldn't listen to the show shes on now. Too over the top right-wing for me.

i think its time for j and t on amtb to go

they really are tiring and boring and old school...oh wait......thats what tampa is all about

I have lived in 3 cities most of my life and i don't think Tampa is any more old school than anywhere else. Jack and Tedd are really retro going all the way back to Joe Pyne. I'm sure they have an audience, but I doubt it is younger or more female demos. AMTB is very conservative and they use a high tempo delivery almost like old time Top 40. The promote Fox News and run Gary Burbank as Earl Pitts. I don't necessarily judge radio shows by the hosts politics unless politics is the point of the show. I listen to Mason Dixon and I know I disagree with his politics. I have heard things on WQYK and WPCV that I don't agree with, but I love the music. If Corey had not gone there, I doubt that I would have listened one time. I also have not listened to BTLS for more than a few minutes. I might agree with Stern's politics, but I still think he is obnoxious and juvenile---just sayin

I wish her well. BUT.... AMTB is Jack and Tedd. If they wanted a third voice my choice would have been Marl Larsen.
They needed a female perspective for balancing.
I can't figure out why Jack and Mark are never on at the same time. I'm sure they are two different people..

To say they are "too right wing", oh, you'll learn.

I get the feeling you either don't know what that tuning knob is for, or are too lazy to use it and like to think you are better than the #1 radio show.

No radio station will appeal to everybody. If somebody is looking for music, they will complain there is no music. AMTB is news and information oriented. WFLA news is a known all over the country. It has even become a branding all over the state. I put up with a lot of static and interference every morning just to be able to listen to it every morning from my elaborate setup at my home in Sa-ra-so-ta! and in the car. No other morning show comes close.

And that includes Mason, who I've listened to since our San Diego days in the 70's.
