Corinth MS radio REPOST - Wild 100.7

Not sure why my initial post was removed, but this IS about a TENNESSEE station, so it does fit on this section of the board. WYDL is listed as Middleton, TN for city of license. Here it is again:

I posted the following in the MS board, but didn't know if TN people would ever read it. Since Wild 100.7 is a station that reaches into both, I thought I would post here too to see if anyone has any ideas. Here is the original post:

Not sure if theres anyone in my neck of the woods on this board but I've been noticing some changes taking place at Wild 100.7 in Corinth. Their music has been tweaked and they are starting to sound hip again.

Music tweaked
New VO guy
New imaging style
Shift changes as follows:

New morning show (Bob&Tom) started this week, which is quite a suprise putting B&T on in Corinth. DJ Kid Not has been missing since before the holidays, the night jock JAGGER is now on overnight and a weekend guy is now doing nights. TicTak is moved to afternoons from his old morning spot and sounds better there. Middays remain with Tonic.

Anyone know whos programming that station now and running the show? It's taken an aggressive turn and is starting to get a little edgy (real edgy with B&T mornings). I like it better this way but it seems kinda risky for Corinth.

The answer to your "who" question is Tic Tac. He's the man in charge of that station. Kid Knot left due to health reasons. At least that's what I've been told. I agree the stations sounds great. I think Tic Tac getting off the morning show and moving to PM drive allows him a much better vantage point from which to direct the station.

Obviously someone's not reading the WYDL website, there's a goodbye from Kid Knot there, although it doesn't say why he left.. but yes, it was because of health problems he'd been having for a short time.

I've actually have seen the WYDL Studios on Cass Street in Corinth. This was about 3 years ago, but I was quite impressed... looked pretty nice. I actually met most of the staff that day, for 9 pm at night.. there sure were alot of people there (Tic Tak, Tonic, Jagger and another guy, whos name I can't remember)

Nice post Jock-n-Ms, er Mr Brandt.

Being some of WYDL's Compition, I must say that they are sounding pretty good... I'll tell you this... I don't know how long the edge will take being pushed... and if you are looking for something a bit more "family friendly"

I host "Daybreak" on the Dove 94FM...

93.9.... it's contempory Christian, and we are really making some headway for a station run by two people out of a double wide... but hey, look at what happened to Z105
