Corm and the Coach...you blew it!

They went off the air in the spring.....it's now July. Are they back yet? Are they coming back at all?

Personally, I think if they stay gone that's fine. I worked near them in an adjacent studio some years back, and while Tom is a straight-up guy, Corm is a waste of space.
 
Well, how many people have worked with him? I did, and was treated like "trash" by him and his crew. QED.
 
"Adjacent studio" implies that you worked at CC/Vox...where he hasn't worked in a year and a half. Took you that long to come on here and sling arrows?

MatrixMan has paid his dues in radio, and a whole lot more, as anyone who knows anything about the relatively recent history of the 5 Corners can tell you. If he says he didn't get treated especially well by Corm, I believe him. What does it matter that he didn't post about it until recently? Corm is back in the news, and people like MatrixMan who worked with him are entitled to their opinions, too.
 
He is entitled to his opinion...but I'd also like to read his opinions that go beyond what Burlington broadcasters he likes and dislikes. I rip people too...but I also comment about stations and formats and trends.

There is a lack of credibility when you sign up for a board that's existed for 10 years and you jump right into ripping people, especially a person who has been a lightning rod the whole time like Corm. However, he can in time establish himself as a thoughtful poster.

The internet is pretty big, broad and wide. This particular forum may have been in existence for 10 years, but it's not unusual for people to find it only recently, as MatrixMan has. I've seen MatrixMan's contributions on other internet forums, and they date back years, and they indeed tend to be very substantive on a wide variety of topics. He gets the benefit of the doubt from me.

Well, for the record, I have no personal dislike for Cormier. I was just saying how I thought I was treated. I actually think he is the most talented broadcaster ever in the Burlington market.

And yes, I did just find this forum. Thanks, Lester, I appreciate your comments.

No idea why I decide to keep up with this thread or why I decided to post. However, I've followed the last couple of posts by MM and Will and Lester and they make me laugh.

Will, relax. It should not matter what past posts MM has made or how long ago he worked with Corm, the timing of his post or the length of time this forum has been around. I take him at face value.

MM keep posting your experiences and opinions. Don't be browbeaten by people like Will.

Lester you're nice to defend MM.

FYI regarding Lester's "5 corners" reference I was a victim of the arson fire there 3 years ago and lost almost everything.
 
TMD thanks for the link. Sorry to hear that they have not gotten paid. Hope they can get what they deserve. No matter what you think of the show, no one deserves to get stiffed!
 
All I'll say is that at this point there is not, and never has been a dispute. A leap of faith was taken and differed compensation was agreed to. We're working on it because it's the right thing to do.
 
It took me a bit to understand what was intended in that post....you mean "deferred" compensation. "Differed" had me scratching my head...
