Possibly this should be on the Canadian TV board, however, what became of the cast of this incredible show? Apparently it never got into syndication as it vanished from the air. Really a shame as Corner Gas was brilliant.

The show ended its final season in Canada, bowing out by request of star/creator Brent Butt (to go out on top, if you will).
WGN America's behavior has already been described in this thread. The show on WGN America was a victim of two factors in addition to the "Bob and Tom" simulcast: the show was ending on CTV anyway, and it was brought to WGN America by previous management at Tribune. In fact, WGN America was still Superstation WGN!
One can expect that a quirky Canadian sitcom was not the kind of programming Randy Michaels et al. had in mind.
What happened to the cast? Brent Butt and Nancy Robertson ("Wanda", also Brent's real life wife) star in a new show called "Hiccups" on CTV. There's no word yet on when/if it will air south of the border.

"Hiccups" is aired on CTV along with "Dan For Mayor", starring "Corner Gas" star Fred Ewanuick (Hank Yarbo).

On one of the DVD's special features it was mentioned that all the filming had to be done before winter set in. Also of interest is the set was so life-like that motorists would pull up to the pumps.
