Corporate Policy or Coincidence...

The on-line version of “Inside Radio” has an interview with Kurt Johnson (Infinity’s “Jack Specialist”) currently based in Dallas.

He mentions that just hours after the Dallas flip to JACK; the staff went to a local eatery to celebrate. They found that their waitress was already familiar with the new station and how great it was, etc., etc.

Anybody remember an almost verbatim quote from WNEW’s staff shortly after one of their format flips a year and a half ago?

I’m thinking it was in a pizza shop after BLINK went on the air…

Just looking for confirmation and wondering out-loud if Infinity keeps a depository of “quotes for all seasons”.

Where's my salt shaker?

Call me a cynic, but I'm inclined to regard anything at all that comes out of the state of Texas that sounds like PROPAGANDA as MADE UP. NOT TRUE. SPIN. Or... A LIE.

Or as a certain national politician said on the campaign trail (actually, tried to say), "Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me." Now where's that salt shaker?

I was thinking of a tasteful attack after reading the above
statement, but then I remembered I was on the NYC board.

The statement he actually said was, "Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice........(puzzled look).....<u>you can't fool a fool man."</u>
