Howdy,
Little birds have hinted there is a subtle sales effort to market a "New" classic country station in Corpus Christi called "Lonestar". Details of the actual frequency are not available. Neither is any other information.
Apparently, at least one "Heavy hitter" advertiser has been approached about this station.
Is it a relaunch of the Badlands "former" AM 1150?
Has Bogey Broadcasting's management brought their "idea of old" back to a different LMA? Or still on 1150.
Willl this station be on a functional FM signal which has at least a snowball's chance of sucess? 106.9? 102.9? 106.5? or maybe AM 1440?
Are the Dobson's launching a classic county "Wingman" for KFTX, somewhere?
OK, I'm trying to build drama here.
Perhaps the real question is...
Which of the two between "CoastalBendlive.com" and Lonestar, will actually appear first? Or will a different station simply "DISAPPEAR"?
Who Knows?
