Corpus Christi - Market #108

We received notice from Arbitron today that the Metro will add Aransas, Bee, Jim Wells and Refugio counties to the existing Nueces and San Patricio area.

New Population will be 439600 and new ranking 108.

We're almost in the big time. :)

I couldn't be happier with this. I got the news this morning. Here's the official word how it came down:

In March 2011, Arbitron updated key business rules relating to its Metro Redefinition policy in Diary markets. The recent update to the Metro Redefinition policy gave our subscribers the opportunity to consider whether they wanted their Metro redefined. After evaluations from the subscribers and a majority in agreement, the Metros in 10 markets will be redefined effective with the Fall 2011 survey.

A list of redefined markets follows, followed by the Arbitron Metro Redefinition policy. Please do not hesitate to contact your Arbitron Account Manager with any questions you may have about these changes.

The change also includes Kleberg County. The Class A's....might be hurt by this.
