Wow if that's true that's great. I know that station has been struggling, going through about 3 or 4 formats withing the last five years. I did like the Rock 107-3 format. Heard some good stuff there.<P ID="edit"><FONT class="small">Edited by rageradio on 02/12/06 07:44 AM.</FONT></P>

What else is goping down in Corpus? How is Texas Radio 94.7 doing down there now? Its been a while since I have made down to my old stomping grounds.

well let me twll you what ive heard so far..
KRYS-FM K99..number one country station, number one morning show in all of Corpus Christi.. the way i understand correctly (dont take my word 100% on this) probably 2nd place overall
KFTX..second place country radio station
while KOUL trails in 3rd place...sad, sad, sad this used to be a great station with its ever changing staff dont see what the future hold for this station.

"The No Name Morning Show" w/ Mark Wintrow and Chris O'Brian (sp?). Mark used to work at K99 many many years ago, he went to Cali, and is now back. Chris is a market vet, he started out at KFTX 97.5 doing middays, then moved to 103.7 KOUL doing mornings and then moved over to K99 in mid June 05' when the new morning show came about.. its no surprise why they are #1 they funny, fantstic, and friendly! i was in the market recently and ckecked them out..anything else yall wanna know, just ask!
