KBSO-94,7 ends it's lma/programming arrangement with Radio Liberdad KDAE 1590 AM.

Now running 94.7 Badlands FM in Mono.

Sounds like a permutation of the 3 times failed Texas Mix/Texas Radio/New Texas Radio.

Somebody really needs to buy this thing.

Would have been nice to have a new format show up on the Corpus dial. Doesn't 97.5 play some of the Texas stuff already in some of its programming?
 
Indeed they do. It's also a little perplexing why these guys would bring this back yet again. I like some versions of the format, but it failed in virtually every Texas market there is. I heard a rumor it's got some Texas Mix guys involved. Steve Coffman did a great job there, but when he passed, Texas Mix wasn't far behind.

Then we had the two Texas Radio knock offs.

I believe I saw KBSO and KCCT listed for sale on a broker site recently for 2.3 mil. That's why I like Corpus. We go some of the best Dope in the state. And to buy those two for that price, in this economy, you'll need it.

I wish 'em all the best. Hope they imported a sales department, too. It would be my guess that neither of these two stations has made a profit programming and selling spots since... Radio Jalapeno 1150? Sorry, kids. LMA's to money losing operations don't count. I'm not putting any money on their success. I've got it socked away in a much more secure investment. You might have heard of my advisor. Name's Madoff. :)
